Lyrics - The Banner Man by Blue Mink

So we waved our hands as we marched alongand the people smiled as we sang our songand the world was saved as they listened to the band.and the
Banner-
Man held the banner highhe was ten feet tall and he touched the skyand
I wish that
I could be a
Banner-
Man.
Glory
Glory
Glorylisten to the band.
Sing the same old storyain't it something grangto be good as you canlike a
Banner-
Man !
And the drums went
Boom as the cornets playand the tuba "umba''d" all the wayand the kids and the dogs were laughing as they ran.
And the
Banner-
Man held the banner highwith an
Allelujah in his eyeand
I wish that
I could be a
Banner-
Man.
Glory
Glory
Glory...
So we reached the square on the top of the hilland the music stopped and we stood stilland a few were saved and the people said
Amen.
Then we all got up and we formed a queueand the drums went
BANG as the trumpets blewand we marched back down into the town again.
